Powered by Intel Atom 1.6Ghz processor it is the most powerful dedicated home controller available while still being very power efficient.  The communication within the Z-Wave network is dramatically improved resulting in immediate response to commands sent by the home automation system user.  Everything in the HC2 is made to be easy from adding devices to creating full automation scenes using point and click interface.  Designed to be easy for anyone to get into home automation.

With advanced functionality like Linked Devices, this function lets you combine multiple devices into one virtual device with combined functionality - for example 3 heater thermostats plus temperature and humidity sensors. The primary advantage of this feature is the convenience of being able to control multiple devices at the same time, at the press of one button. The second advantage is a reduction of the number of devices icons in the user interfaces.

Supports 3rd party plugins to integrate with other devices like NEST, TVs, Sonos and more!  For even more powerful integration you can use custom scripting (LUA code).
