Remotec Advanced Z-Wave Controller Remote

The remotec advanced remote can be configured as a primary or secondary controller within a z-wave home automation network.  Use it as a primary controller if you want to keep things simple and don't need the full functionality of a dedicated home controller like Vera or Fibaro Home Center (HC2). The remote is portable with multichannel support and works with almost every z-wave enabled devices (excluding double relays) including binary switches, dimmers, thermostats, secured door locks and sensors. Use this to control devices individually or through “Scene” control. 

When used as a secondary controller with your existing home controller you can use the remote to activate scenes and control devices with the convenience of having the remote readily available.

The Remotec Advanced remote is also equipped with a back lit LCD screen and an intelligent Self Navigated Button (SNB) system. Users can setup and operate ZWave devices through the LCD and the SNB system and enjoy a networked, wireless home automation system anywhere at home.

Scene is a collection of Z Wave devices configured to user specified levels, settings, modes, or operating conditions and are usually activated by a controller, timed event, or specific conditions. For example, you can set set the dimmer to an intensity level and close the motorized curtain when it's time to watch a movie.

You can control up to 12 scenes(SceneOn/Off) with your ZRC100 with each Scene supporting up to 32 ZWave devices.
